BONE FROG GUITARS
Creating the logo for Bone Frog Guitars was an exciting challenge that allowed me to blend symbolism and artistry into a single powerful image. Bone Frog Guitars was born from Cole Stevens' 50 years of experience as a professional guitarist and his desire to build a dependable, high-performance instrument.
Sketching the idea out.
LOGO & ILLUSTRATIONS
The skeleton bone frog, shaped like a guitar, represents the essence of Cole Stevens' vision: resilience, uniqueness, and dedication to craftsmanship. The design pays homage to the skeletal structure, symbolizing strength and endurance, while the guitar shape reflects the core of the company's mission. The logo captures the spirit of innovation and reliability that defines Bone Frog Guitars, serving as a visual representation of a brand committed to creating exceptional guitars that withstand the rigors of performance. Additionally, the frog element subtly ties into the mission of using music as a healing tool for veterans, honoring those who have served through both design and purpose.
GRATEFUL DEAD MEETS BONE FROG
Inspired by the iconic imagery of the Grateful Dead, I created the bone frog illustrations as a tribute to the band's unique artistic legacy, particularly their famous dancing bear. The Grateful Dead's artwork is renowned for its vibrant, psychedelic style and whimsical characters, which capture a sense of freedom, creativity, and community. By incorporating these elements into the bone frog designs, I aimed to evoke the same spirit of joy and individuality. The bone frog serves as a playful yet edgy homage, blending the lightheartedness of the dancing bear with a modern twist, reflecting both the timeless influence of the Grateful Dead and my own artistic vision.
